A New Normal. Still the Same.

As I get reacquainted with blogging, my posts I promise will be consistent. While thinking about this post, I noticed my last post was under the home.life.family category I made. Anything racing will be discussed in the racing “category”. Come to think of it, there will just be two categories, no need to complicate things. Well not to complicate things for me 😊!

Although, I’m learning with complications you find a strength within that you didn’t know existed or obtain a new skill or information that often time sounded foreign. Nursing my father back to health required both skill and information, it has been one of those obstacles I didn’t think I was equipped to face and as difficult as it was at the beginning my Dad & I are coming out on the other side stronger and better for it. I can’t thank my sisters Valrie & Priscilla for their help and unwavering support. (Nurses by trade by the way!) Pom Pom likes to check in on Grandpa as well, most of the time she is in the way but does what she can. I assume she is doing her part for emotional support.

Speaking of the help and support I have received, it has allowed me to slowly resume day to day actives also my workouts which now serve a dual purpose. The strength training aids me when re-positioning my Dad and the morning runs are a good stress repeater and gives me clarity so not to be overwhelmed.

There is a DIY I’m taking on. I’m turning one of my closets into a #clooffice (that’s what TikTok calls it sooo 🤷🏽‍♀️ ), website updates, 2Wheel Woman Racing merchandise (which has been in the works for years), book or documentary maybe both. I came across my Dad’s old projector and our home movies (🎥 I can’t wait to delve into that project) and reaching out to past sponsors for the 2026 race season (of course anything racing will be in the aforementioned category 👍🏽).

Well Fabulous Fans! That’s all I have for now, although this post will be accompanied by a few photos. More updates coming soon 🔜
