HE Will Always Be #1 in MY HEART ♥️
Today marks seven 7️⃣ months since my Dad’s passing, there is so much to still settle and get done however in between a return to normal life is also being accomplished as much as possible. There have been birthdays, graduations, job reviews, budgets, construction projects, new business, new dog, day trips, hair salons visits, gender reveals so yes life goes on and grief attaches itself onto it for the remainder of days.
Work has been busy and there were home projects I had on deck. For example my cloffice (closet + office) that I finally complered and it came out just like I had in mind.
Next up will be an update to the hallway restroom.
I did the final clean of my childhood home the only regret was not getting my Dad’s Southeast Cycle sign for a keepsake. My Dad and I had plans and lots of them and I know with all my heart he would want me to keep going and not give up. However, I won’t lie sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel because I wanted my Dad by my side for every special moment and occasion including in the winner’s circle next time I won. He is reason why and what I accomplished in racing NHRA, it’s a story for another day.
Our Heavenly Father had other plans and HE is perfect in all his ways, HE also knows how much I love and miss my Dad. 🤲🏽
In the meantime, here are some photos ….. Instagram has a hashtag called #lately soooo yeah this has been my life lately
Enjoy 😉! Until next time
